As I began the second semester high school art, my teacher said to me, "I can tell you already know everything I'm going to teach in this class. I've got an old Super 8 camera and a darkroom that no one is using. Would you like to spend the rest of the school year making a stop-motion film?"

YES YES YES YES YES YES YES!

Over the next four years I created the five films showcased here. I'm proud of them, but what I'm most proud of is that my hobby helped inspire my younger brother, Jonathan Hoffman, to pursue an animation degree, which eventually led him to work for Pixar Animation Studios. Go Jon!
